Do you remember what nuclear did?

A source of inspiration and ideas for stories might be the life and the accidents of a nuclear power plants. It’s interesting to read newspapers and magazines of past years to discover what happened to Chernobyl and how the effects of the nuclear accident evolved during the years: both in reality and in the communication of reality by media. Still, today, politicians suggest to come back (or to reach for the first time) to nuclear energy. It’s “unavoidable”, some of them say.

But, is it really safe today? Is it convenient?

Well, it would be nice to spend time and resources to build stories and games about this issue for both education and entertainment.

I am curious to know which other products, films, games, books have played around this idea.

This topic intrigues me most of all because 10 days before the 26th of April 1986 I had one of the most vivid dream of my life. I was leaning on my balcony looking at the hills and the lawns and everything was burning with tall and fierce flames. I usually do not remember my dreams, but this one was so real that I remained almost shocked for a few days. It’s only after a while that I learned of the Chernobyl nuclear accident.
